As mid-Autumn festival draws closer, mooncakes are traditionally eaten as part of family celebrations, with the moon symbolising unity. This year, Kerry Hotel Hong Kong presents two timeless flavours to celebrate this age-old tradition. White Lotus Seed Paste and Double Egg Yok Mooncake and Mini Egg Custard Mooncake, all made from the finest and 100% locally sourced ingredients.
Eight pieces of Mini Egg Custard Mooncake are proudly presented in a round box, reflecting the shape of the moon during this celebrated season. The golden colour highlights the changing of the season, while the ‘ripple’ motif is taken from the hotel’s designer interiors, together with the handle that is in keeping with the modern and lifestyle elements of the hotel. The mooncakes are made with smooth and creamy egg custard which is encased in a light, crisp crust to complement both flavour and texture.
In keeping with tradition, Kerry Hotel Hong Kong is also offering the ever-popular traditional White Lotus Seed Paste and Double Egg Yolk Mooncake by Shangri-La this year.
