Pascal Agrapart, Terroirs NV (Champagne) Agrapart’s NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Terroirs is another fabulous wine. Poiré, Eric Bordelet, "Granit" 2017 (Champagne) Eric Bordelet was a top sommelier at Arpège in Paris - the three-Michelin-Star restaurant, before returning home to Normandy in 1992 to take over the family business. It was from his knowledge on cider making that he began planting and growing apple and pear trees. Poiré Granit are produced from those pear trees that are estimated to be about 300 years old, and the wine carries about 75-80 grams of sugar per liter, yet it doesn't taste particularly sweet. This is due to the tannin and acidity, which Bordelet says is twice as high as the apple! Stunning as aperitif or with cheese or desserts. With just 4% alc/vol this can be enjoyed any time. Cider simply doesn't get better than this. Maranges, Ludovic Bonnardot, Sur le Bois 2017 (Red wine) Ludovic and Emilien Bonnardot from the Domaine Bonnardot is a family estate near the Citeaux Abbey. Ludovic shows a huge respect for the land and terror, after manual harvesting, the grapes are sorted before slow maceration. Very little sulfur is added during the process of vinification, allowing the wine to keep the expression of the vineyard and more fruits purity. Their Maranges “Sous le Bois” has very soft and juicy tannin with lot of red fruits characters such as cherry, strawberry and raspberry. Ludovic and Emilien Bonnardot from the Domaine Bonnardot is a family estate near the Citeaux Abbey. Ludovic shows a huge respect for the land and terror, after manual harvesting, the grapes are sorted before slow maceration. Barolo, Prunotto 2014 (Red wine) A traditional Barolo, one of Prunotto’s historic labels, whose first vintage was produced in 1905 from the best grapes of the vineyards in the heart of the Barolo appellation. Ageing takes place in large oak barrels of various sizes, further enhancing the extraordinary typicity of Nebbiolo in this region, complex and generous with pleasing aromas of rose petals, red fruit and spicy notes, well balanced with velvety tannins.
